Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by provid-ing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the Elektro-mechanical team at Bryne.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Working as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision.
• Creating CAD documentation (3D, 2D) related to electrical connectors
• Creating 2D drawings related to Ex compliance
• Understanding and applying applicable processes, standards, guidelines, and requirements
Qualifications for the role
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree within mechanics, mechatronics, or similar
• The position is open for both fresh graduates as well as experienced professionals.
• You enjoy working with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, and OnShape.
• You have some years of experience in 3D modeling and 2D mechanical drawings.
• Possess knowledge of appropriate 2D drawing standards
• You are captivated by the world of Robotics.
• Degree in mechanical engineering or relevant prior CAD experience
• You are at ease communicating in English and preferably Norwegian.
