Flexible Location and Work Schedules
Candidates may be based locally in Northern Norway or elsewhere in Norway. Flexible work schedules are available, including:
- Weekly commuting
- 3 weeks on / 1 week off
- 10 days on / 4 days off
Accommodation and travel related to the agreed rotation schedule are provided.
English is the working language on site, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates from diverse professional backgrounds.
About the Role
As Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising electrical installation within your assigned scope. This includes work related to containment, cable routing, grounding, switchgear, cabling and terminations.
You will coordinate subcontractors and help establish safe and productive workfronts by ensuring teams have the required access, materials and information, with activities sequenced appropriately.
You will also monitor daily progress against short-term plans and identify constraints, resource requirements, risks and potential delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day electrical installation activities
- Coordinate electrical crews and subcontractors
- Follow installation against approved drawings and specifications
- Identify defects and coordinate corrective activities with QA/QC
- Monitor progress, constraints, resource requirements, risks and delays
- Coordinate with MEP, civil, structural and commissioning teams
- Support phased system completion and structured handover
- Enforce HSE requirements and electrical safety controls
- Follow requirements related to lockout/tagout, permits and toolbox talks within delegated authority
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for candidates with:
- At least 5 years of electrical supervision experience on large construction projects
- Experience with high- and low-voltage systems, switchgear, containment, cable installation and terminations
- Technical diploma or degree in electrical engineering, building services or a related field
- Understanding of electrical installation and testing sequences in mission-critical environments
- Fluent written and spoken English
An electrical qualification valid in Norway is considered an advantage. Experience from data centres, industrial projects or critical infrastructure is strongly preferred, while knowledge of Norwegian electrical standards and safety codes is also advantageous.
