Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a consultant that will work for us in a period of 12 months, preferably from January to December 2025.

Become a key player in the development of control systems for painting. With us, you will have the opportunity to work on control system software, applying your analytical skills ensuring software quality and compliance with latest standards.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Works as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrates solid technical proficiency in their own area of competence and embraces best practices.
  • Performs various tasks in the assigned area (software), from building concepts, gathering requirements to design, implementation, integration, testing, technology transfer or maintenance, and operations.
  • Demonstrates the ability to recognize problems and provide solutions independently.
  • Stays abreast of the state of the art in their own competence area, as well as new and evolving technologies.
  • Applies this knowledge and goes beyond as required.

 

We are looking for a consultant that has expertise in some or most of listed domains:

  • Embedded software (bare metal)
  • C / C++
  • Embedded Linux
  • Electronics
  • Python
  • DevOps / Git

You will report to the R&D Program Manager and work closely with the project leader and a team of skilled engineers. Due to nature of the work and close connection with the physical product, the majority of work is expected to happen on-site in out Bryne office.

 

Qualifications for the role 

  • BSc or MSc degree
  • Minimum 8 years of practical experience
